Register Now for the 2008/2009 Playgroup Program
The Playgroup at the Colts Neck Reformed Church Nursery School is designed for the 2 - 2-1/2 year old child. There is no specific academic curriculum at this age, but there is always learning going on. The children are helped to separate from their parents, learn routine, experience supervised play, art activities, literature, rhyming, counting, cause/effect and music and gross motor activities. There is one-on-one interaction with the teacher and/or teacher assistant as well as encouragement of interactive play between children. The class is scheduled for 1-1/2 hours either one or two mornings per week: Monday and/or Wednesday from 9:15 - 10:45 a.m. No snack is served. Diapers and/or pull-ups are acceptable for this class. The teacher/child ratio is 1:4. Please call for more information or click on the link below to download a Playgroup Application.
